Facials
All of my facials begin and end the same way..
Beginning with a double cleanse and skin analysis, and ending with hydration and SPF
I try my best to use clean products without a lot of artificial fragrances and also use my own handcrafted oil blends and massage balms.

A thorough skin consultation is done prior to begining one's first facial. I am happy to talk in depth on home skincare regimens and products that I would and would not recommend. Some I may sell, some I can point you in the right direction.
Sculpt & Lift Facial

This facial isnt your typical "cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate" type of facial. This treatment is a combination of lymphatic work and deep tissue work.
Starting off with a double cleanse and going right into a light lymphatic massage, then a more vigorous massage to give your muscles a workout. Next we move on to the Buccal Massage and end with the Gua Sha massage. When all the massage and pampering is over I'll cleanse your skin one last time and apply a moisturizer and SPF.

Pamper Me Facial

This facial builds off the classic facial with a couple more steps to up the relaxation. In addition to everything included in the Classic facial, you also get dermaplaning and a 10 minutes Gua Sha massage
Deep Pore Facial

This facial is specifically for someone who knows they have quite a bit of congestion or active acne and is in need of heavy extractions. With this facial you'll get a double cleanse, exfoliating mask, extractions, light chemical peel, high frequency treatment, light facial massage, Blue LED w/ hand*arm massage, facial masque w/ décolleté*shoulder*neck massage, and brought to an end with a light moisturizer and SPF w/ cooling globes

Get Glowing Peel

This peel is a medium depth peel. Over the course of 7-10 days layers of dead skin cells slowly peel away and gently reveal glowing, soft, supple skin. Service includes double cleanse, dermaplaning, and peel.

Microneedling

Microneedling stimulates collagen synthesis to help tighten the skin and smooth out fine lines. It is also a great service if you have acne scars or just rough texture, as the needles help to break up the scar tissue and allow new collagen through.
Back Facial

Just like with the other facials I'l double cleanse first, then apply a light chemical peel. Extractions are next followed up with high frequency, a light massage and a clay maque. The Masque is removed with a warm towel followed with a toner and light moisturizer.

Hi! I'm Valerie, welcome to my website
For about 20 years now I have been working with skin in all different aspects. I started out performing facials, waxing and body treatments at a day spa. From there I went on to work at the first MedSpa in St. Louis (2002). I was there for just about 13 years. I was the lead esthetician and in addition to basic facials and waxing I performed more advanced services- lasers, body contouring and hair transplants.
When I left there I switched gears for a bit and went into the education side of things, which I LOVED. I found out how much I truly love teaching and helping others understand their skin and how to achieve their desired results.
I missed working with clients on a day to day basis so 3 years later I accepted a job to open and run a MedSpa within a functional medicine office. It was exciting and fun but ulitmately it was time for me to go out on my own, which is what brings us here today!
As I said earlier, I love to educate and help people with their skin anyway I can so along with seeing clients at my home spa I wanted to start this website and blog to educate on this platform as well. As Im getting a bit older and am noticing my skin isnt the same as it once was I find myself in the space between wanting to stop it all together and being grateful that I GET to age so I will try and do so as gracefully as possible. At the same time Ive made it my personal mission to help as many other clients who are feeling the same way!
Ive started to focus on non injectable solutions such as face yoga, gua sha, and other massage techniques along with other non invasive treatments.
I also make and sell hand crafted oil blends for skin and hair and in a couple months I will be begining my journey in learning all things in skincare forlulation with the long term plan of creating my own full skincare line. Come along for the ride, my clients will get to benefit the most, as they will be getting lots of samples to try ; )

Along with being a licensed esthetician, I am married to my best friend and my favorite person in this entire universe. I am also a mother to 2 pretty kick a** kids who are both navigating their way through the teenage years (as my husband and I are navigating parenting teenagers) Both are ball players with my son playing high school and travel baseball and my daughter playing club softball with my husband coaching and tournaments every weekend keeps us pretty busy in the spring and summer, but we love it!
